Mahila empowerment party to contest all seats in state polls in Karnataka

CHARMINAR: The All India Mahila Empowerment Party announced that the party would contest all 119 seats in the Telangana Legislative Assembly elections . According to the party founder and President Dr Nowhera Shaikh, CEO of the Heera Group of Companies, the party fight for

  • human rights,
  • women empowerment,
  • disputes of Waif properties, among other issues. 

“People are now waiting for a party that respects the Constitution and treats every caste, religion, community equally. After becoming the ruling party, our main purpose would be to give equality among all, whether gender or any issues. Our party is going to make sure that all these problems are addressed,” said Dr Nowhera Shaikh

She also said that the party’s main agenda would be to bring together the women of the state .To fight for their rights and give special focus to the welfare and safety of women and children. The party also aims to contest in the parliamentary elections across the country in the year 2021.

The Budget papers look thick when presented, and the government talks of spending lakhs of crores of rupees. However, it has not been able to provide even necessities like water to the people. The low-income families continue to live in huts and slums, she said.

The All India MEP will contest the elections and is confident of playing a major role in forming the next Government.

She said that the present political parties are dividing the nation by trading charges against one another. They are trying to create dissent among religious groups appealing to people’s emotions.

Nowhera shaikh also said that they would file candidates in the 2021 Lok Sabha elections also. If we can win, the first thing we will do is to remove GST, she added.
