AIMEP will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India as by the law established. AIMEP National President Dr. Nowhera Shaik will uphold the sovereignty and integrity of the country. She will faithfully and conscientiously discharge her duties as National President of AIMEP. In our constitution, it is clearly mentioned that Religion is a matter of belief or faith. The constitution of India recognizes how important religion is in the lives of the people of India and hence, provides for the right to freedom of religion under Articles 25 to Article 28. But it is also mentioned in the same constitution that the Constitution is above all the law and it is the supreme Power that will govern the people of India.

The Constitution supports religious harmony which means the people of India show love and affection to different religions of the country. Freedom of religion as a fundamental right is guaranteed to all persons in India but from the point of view of the State, religion, faith, and belief are immaterial. Only the Constitution is supreme from a state point of view. No other book except the constitution of India can be referred to rule India. No person in the name of religion can do any act that is opposed to public policy or create any disturbance or intolerance among the people of India.
